Calle Colombia, Cuidad De Mexico 2016

During my time spent in Mexico City for Graphic Design Arnhem Summer Sessions 2016, I saw a great deal of frowning faces on the street. All I ever wanted was a smile from a majority of the people I saw, but it just didnt happen. My ultimate goal was establish some kind of neighborhood, or community that could have something to do, or smile about while they went on with their day.  Below are 5 little interventions I did for this small portion of the street, "Calle Colombia" to try to introduce myself to the people I saw everyday. I can say with confidence that I made quite a lot of friends with the people I met on the street, in a place where I really, really stuck out.

1. Free Hugs

2. HOLA

3. Casa Del Hijo Ahuizote

4. What Does Neighborhood Mean To You?

5. Come In - Exhibition Invitation
